GenCyber Camps
Teacher Camps
Are you a Maryland middle or high school teacher interested in learning more about cybersecurity? Apply to a Summer 2025 GenCyber Teacher Camp!
Each of the two camps (TU and UMGC) will offer a unique cyber learning experience. Educators may apply to both camps, however no teacher will accepted to both camps in an effort to provide the experience to as many educators as possible.
Towson University Camp: The B’More Secure GenCyber Professional Learning Program is designed for Maryland secondary science teachers of any subject area with little, to no, previous cybersecurity knowledge or experience. You'll learn more about cybersecurity and how to infuse it into your curriculum in a meaningful way.
UMGC Camp: The 2025 GenCyber Infusion and Immersion Teacher Camp will focus on training non-technical high school teachers to infuse cybersecurity concepts into their existing courses. The camp will also feature a Virtual Reality immersive experience to support cyber concepts. This will introduce more students to cybersecurity fundamentals, concepts, and ethics.

Student Camps
Looking for a summer camp experience for your middle school student? The Maryland GeCyber Coalition will be offering week-long camp experiences throughout Summer 2025!
Each partner institution will independently run their own unique camp experiences. In an effort to ensure the as many students as possible have the opportunity to attend a summer camp, students will be limited to attending one of the camp weeks (although they are free to apply to as many as they would like).
